HRH Crown Prince and Deputy ISupreme Commander receives Indonesia’s new Ambassador to the Kingdom

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, welcomed at Riffa Palace today the newly appointed Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr Chilman Arisman.

His Royal Highness wished the new ambassador success in his diplomatic duties and in further promoting and developing the already strong ties between the two countries both politically and economically.His Royal Highness highlighted the prominent role played by Indonesia in Asia, particularly its rapidly growing status as regional economic powerhouse.

He said Bahrain looked forward to forging greater links between the two countries to boost cooperation and increase the volume of bilateral trade and investment.His Excellency Ambassador Arisman expressed his thanks for his warm welcome in the Kingdom and thanked His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for his interest in progressing and expanding relations between Bahrain and Indonesia.
