HRH the Crown Prince receives Yemen’s President
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, met with HE President Abdou-Rabou Mansour Hadi of the sisterly Republic of Yemen who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain and explored with him solid historic bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince met with the Yemeni President at his place of residence in the presence of the Crown Prince’s son, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.The meeting discussed ongoing efforts being exerted by the Yemeni President in order to achieve more stability and security in his country both of which are essential foundations to accomplish reform and development in the sisterly Republic of Yemen, asserting the importance of bolstering bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in various spheres.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander praised the role undertaken by HE President Abdou-Rabou Mansour Hadi in order to boost economic development and construction in order to realize the aspirations of the Yemeni people, praising bilateral cooperation and solid close relations between the GCC states and Yemen which reflects the depth of history and geography of the GCC and Yemen.
For his part, the Yemeni President expressed his delight to be visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain and lauded the hospitable reception and also expressed his pride in the outcome of his visit to the Kingdom, commending the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership and people for supporting the major steps made in his country towards security and stability and to realize all aspirations of the Yemeni people for the sake of the future of their country.
The Yemeni President asserted the significance of continuous efforts in order to make a success of the GCC Imitative in Yemen to accomplish more stability and reflect positively on Yemen in particular and the entire region in general, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain more progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa; Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning, Dr. Jum’a bin Ahmed Al-Ka’bi; the Crown Princes’ court chief, Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa; and, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
