HRH Crown Prince Arrives in Abu Dhabi

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today arrived in Abu Dhabi to attend the ETIHAD Airways Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix- at the invitation of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

HRH Prince Salman congratulated UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on this occasion, wishing the officials in charge of Yas Marina Circuit success. HRH the Crown Prince described the success of the UAE as a source of pride for the Kingdom of Bahrain and all the GCC member states. He hailed the success of the 4th edition of this global sporting event in Abu Dhabi and praised the prime organization and hospitality, stressing the importance of motorsport as a vital catalyst for the economic, cultural and social sectors.

HRH Prince Salman affirmed Bahrain’s support for the UAE in its efforts to host the global sporting event, pointing out that the Kingdom was the starting point of the prestigious F1 Grand Prix in the Middle East in 2004.HRH the Crown Prince met at Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and other senior officials.
