HRH Crown Prince receives Japanese businessman Toshio Motoya

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander received at Riffa Palace today Japanese businessman Toshio Motoya, the owner and founder of APA Group.

HRH stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes the economic dynamism and innovation that global investment can bring and emphasised the importance of co-operation with advanced economies, such as Japan.HRH also outlined Bahrain’s strength as a gateway to the Gulf market, an increasingly important economic investment zone for global investment.HRH asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to build on its economic achievements and maintain them by ensuring security and stability.

HRH the Crown Prince voiced Bahrain’s keenness on more cooperation with Japan, building on the strong and significant ties nurtured over many years.Mr. Motoya expressed delight in meeting HRH the Crown Prince as well as satisfaction at the meetings he held during his visit to Bahrain. He lauded Bahrain’s investment climate which remarkably succeeded in achieving harmony between the local specificity and international standards. He also commended the Kingdom’s development momentum and Bahrain’s keenness to further boost it by focusing on sustainability and education.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and Bahraini Ambassador to Japan Dr. Khalil Hassan.
