Deputy King Praises Solid GCC Relations

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince, has affirmed that deep-rooted relations between GCC countries are solid thanks to their belief in their common destiny and conviction that their solidarity and unity are basic for their strength.

This came as he received at Al Riffa Palace today the newly-appointed UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Sultan Saif Al Suwaidi.During the audience, HRH Prince Salman expressed the kingdom’s sincere thanks to brotherly UAE for its fraternal supportive stances towards Bahrain, which, he said, reflects truly the two countries’ close links, adding that he is looking forward to bolstering bilateral cooperation and coordination further, in line with the directives of His Majesty king Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.He also wished him every success in performing his diplomatic duties.

On his part, the new UAE Ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deputy King for his pride in the distinguished deep-rooted bilateral ties, growing steadily in all fields, pledging that he will do his utmost to consolidate cooperation and coordination so as to meet the two brotherly peoples’ aspirations.
