HRH Crown Prince receives Notz Stucki Group Managing Partner

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, stressed the need to maintain the outstanding organizational environment to lure more financial and business establishments.

Speaking at a meeting at Riffa Palace today with Notz Stucki Group Managing Partner Herwing Von and Director General of the group’s office in Bahrain Maria Sofia Kourti, HRH hailed the role of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) in this regard by continuously developing policies and legislations supporting the financial and banking sector.HRH the Crown Prince praised the kingdom’s successful policies in this respect, which turned Bahrain into a regional financial hub, hailing Notz Stucki Group’s decision to open its regional office in Bahrain.

HRH reiterated the kingdom’s resolve to go ahead with boosting its status as a regional financial centre and providing more facilities to ensure stability of Bahrain-based institutions.HRH underlined the role of the Economic Development Board (EDB) in wooing international establishments and companies, praising Geneva-based Notz Stucki Group for its decision to operate its activities in the Middle East from Bahrain.HRH described the decision as a reflection of the group’s confidence in Bahrain’s economic status.

On his part, Mr. Herwing Von expressed thanks for the streamlined procedures and facilities provided by Bahrain for the group to open its office, voicing keenness to avail of Bahrain’s reputed status as a financial hub to bring about more investment successes in the region.The meeting was attended by CBB Governor Rashid Al Maraj, Transportation Minister and EDB Acting Chief Executive Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed and Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
