Deputy King Receives SCTA President

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, receives this evening at Riffa Palace, Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) President and board chairman HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who arrived in Bahrain to attend a ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Culture at Bab Al-Bahrain to mark the World Tourism Day(WTD).

The Deputy King stressed the crucial role of tourism in projecting the civilizations and cultures of countries, taking into account their specificities and identities.He also highlighted the importance of the tourism industry as a catalyst to spur growth and revitalize the economic sector, hailing the efforts of HRH Prince Sultan to promote culture and tourism.

HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud hailed Bahrain’s culture buoyancy and innovative and diverse programmes, lauding the efforts of the Ministry of Culture in this regard.The meeting was attended by Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince’s Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Saudi Ambassador Dr. Abdulmohsen bin Fahd Al-Marek.
