GCC Support Programme Discussed
The GCC programme in support of development projects in Bahrain tonight took centre stage. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, tonight received at Riffa Palace Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa who outlined measures undertaken to activate the GCC support programme.
The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Dr. Jumaa bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Works Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Transport Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Housing Minister Bassem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer, Crown Prince’s Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Court Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al-Khalifa and Crown Prince’s Advisor Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa.HRH Prince Salman underscored the importance of optimizing the dividends of the GCC Support Programme to promote sustained development plans in Bahrain.
He also gave directives to focus on priorities and adopt steadfast and calculated steps to activate the GCC programme and promote development projects and services.
