Deputy King Visits Ramadan Majlis

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, urged dialogue between all parties.

“Multiparty dialogue represents the ideal path to promote consensus, being the safety net for all sides”, he said.He stressed the need to avert any rupture, isolation or unilateralism, being detrimental to the positive national march, urging all parties to assume their role and contribute in building their country, regardless of diverging opinions and ideas.

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, was speaking he visited the majlis of Shaikh Abdulhussain Khalaf Al-Asfoor, in the company of his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.

The Deputy King congratulated Shaikh Al-Asfoor and the majlis guests on the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan stressing genuine Ramadan values and traditions in promoting cohesion and building bridges of confidence.He stressed the dire need for Bahrain to regain national unity for its people to promote progress and development.

He also underscored the importance of working hand in hand with Bahraini youngsters to bolster national unity, voicing his confidence in the Kingdom’s promising future. He deplored lost opportunities which could have enabled Bahrainis to ensure more viable achievements, stressing the necessity at this defining moment to explore the best means to overcome the repercussions of the past period and recover from its aftermath.

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, then visited the majlis of Khalid Al-Zayani in Riffa and expressed congratulations on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He urged all parties to join ranks and work sincerely hand in hand for national interests to be achieved, stressing the necessity to renounce violence, division and escalation and build bridges and promote rapprochement and consultation instead, being the best means to achieve security and stability.

He paid tribute to Bahrain’s leaders and citizens for the Kingdom’s hard-won achievements which are a source of pride. He lauded Bahrainis’ landmark achievements and successes in all arenas, reflecting the Kingdom’s main asset – human resources.

Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, was also accompanied Transport Minister Kamal Ahmed bin Mohammed and Crown Prince’s Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
