HRH Crown Prince attends dinner banquet

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, attended yesterday a dinner banquet hosted by Indian Vice President Mohammed Hassan Ansari in his and his accompanying delegation’s honour.

Two memorandums of understanding were signed, on the sidelines of the banquet, between Bahrain and India.Transportation Minister and Acting Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board Kamal Ahmed bin Mohammed signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian State Minister for Finance Namo Narayan on taxation information.

The second memo on bilateral cooperation in the Information Technology (IT) field was concluded by Bahraini Ambassador to India Mohammed Ghassan Shikhou and Indian Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Middle East Affairs Sanjay Singh.On the other hand, a series of meetings were held yesterday between the private sectors of both countries.Earlier before the meetings, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Dr. Essam Fakhro had signed an agreement with the Deputy Chief Executive of the Confederation of Indian Industry.
