HRH Crown Prince Congratulated on Success of GCC Consultative Summit

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulation from the Parliament Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani marking the success of the Consultative Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council, hosted recently by Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the cable, Al Dhahrani commended the decisions taken by GCC leaders during the meeting, voicing his full support for the steps taken so far to translate the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to move from the cooperation phase to a union one.

He also expressed his sincere appreciation to GCC leaders for their constant keenness to enhance parliamentary work, support for the GCC Union, as the best way to achieve more stability and prosperity for the region and tasking special committees to study the obstacles facing the launch of the union.He also wished HRH Crown Prince continuous good healt and happiness.
