HRH Crown Prince Meets GCC’s Ambassadors in Washington

During meeting today with the GCC’s Ambassadors in Washington, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa , Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander renewed his appreciation and gratitude to the GCC countries’ support delivered to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and commended the brotherly relations between GCC’s leaderships, stessing the mutual determination will be continuing to face the regional challenges.

HRH explained the efforts exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to overcome the impact of last year’s crisis, and confirmed maintaining the Bahraini social cohesion through rejecting violence and extremity. On their part, the GCC’s Ambassadors expressed their appreciation of meeting RHR during his important visit to Washington, assering their countries’ full support to stand by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to resolve its crisis.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Royal Court Follow-up Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Ateyatalla Al-Khalifa, Minister of Transport Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, HRH the Crown Prince court’s advisor for political and economic affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH the Crown Prince court’s Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and the Bahraini Ambassador to the USA Huda Nunu.
