Crown Prince visits Korean Special Operations Training Center
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, accompanied by his son His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa visited the Korean Special Operations Training Center as part of an official visit to the Korean Capital, Seoul.
HRH the Crown Prince was received upon arrival at the Korean Base by the Special Operations’ commander who welcomed His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and praised the level of military cooperation between the two friendly countries specifically regarding training as part of the longstanding cultural and trade exchanges relations.
HRH the Crown Prince toured a number of facilities in the Base and attended a number of exercises and parades which portrayed the efficiency and skills of the Korean Armed Forces, and praised the high standard of military discipline for which the Korean Army has always been known and high moral in planning, performance, allegiance and pride.
HRH the Crown Prince also watched a film of the Korean Army and the Special Operations Base.HRH the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander- President of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Economic Development Board (EDB) – and his accompanying delegation were hosted to a business lunch earlier today by the Korean Industries Union, the Korean International Trade Authority, the Korean Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Korean Micro- and Medium-scale Industries Union.
HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the establishing of the Bahrain-Korean Friendship Society which initiates a new phase of solid partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Korea, looking forward to the contribution of his current visit to Korea in boosting the level of Bahraini—Korean cooperation relations.
During the visit to Korea, the delegation accompanying HRH the Crown Prince held a series of meetings with their counterparts from the Korean private sector organized by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) in order to attract Korean firms for investing in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to explore potentials for the formation of joint ventures
.Also on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince’s visit to Korean, an agreement was signed in the presence of Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Fakhroo between the Kingdom of Bahrain’s E-Government and LGCNS Corporation regarding implementation of a project to develop the business licensures issuance system.
