HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa lays foundation stone for new health center in Muharraq

His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, deputized HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa the advisor of HRH the Prime Minister this morning to lay down the foundation stone for a new health center in Bu Maher, Muharraq.

HH asserted the government’s commitment to providing optimum medical services to all citizens in the various areas and governorates and making these services easily available in residential neighborhoods up to highest quality standards and equipped with latest modern technologies in the field of healthcare and public health all over the Kingdom.

HH praised the Ministry of Works for its efforts in equipping the new health center with latest modern technologies in the field of healthcare and public health for citizens all over the Kingdom and preparation of qualified medical and technical staff members to serve in the Kingdom’s health sector.

On the other hand, Minister of Health Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi hailed the wise leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince for their constant support to public health plans and projects, citing HRH the Prime Minister’s kind patronage of the new health facility expected to be inaugurated in 2014.

Construction cost is estimated at BD 40200.000.The health center highly qualified staff members shall be in the range from 80 to 100 in various specialties.
