HRH Crown Prince visits BIC

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, visited this morning the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and inspected ongoing preparations ahead of the Bahrain International Grand Prix and toured various facilities including the BIC Tower and Control Room, as well as entertainment facilities prepared for children and families.

HRH the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation of the huge efforts exerted by the team in preparing for this world-classevent due to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the period 20-22 April 2012 which is of paramount economic, investment and cultural importance. HRH the Crown Prince expressed his pride as this major international event shall be conducted in Bahrain, a country that is both rich with its vivid heritage and historical facilities, asserting taht the people of this good land shall always remain open towards the various communities and cultures through such events.

HRH explained remarked that the successful holding of the Bahrain Grand Prix Championship is deemed a success for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
