Deputy King Receives Chairman and Members of the Bahrain Businessmen Society

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince, has asserted that the economic sector is a strategic partner and a cornerstone of sustainable economic development.

Prince Salman also praised the crucial role played by the sector in the vital development projects, calling for the need to take advantage of the available opportunities and invest them according the principles of freedom and transparency. Speaking as he received the Chairman and members of the Bahrain Businessmen Society, the Deputy of HM the King affirmed that the homeland was built on the values of justice, equality and competence in order to ensure that the citizens are better served politically and economically.

“It is our duty today to safeguard our hard-won achievements, denounce everything that sows seeds of division and hatred among us and impedes the kingdom’s development and growth and stand united against all those who violate the rights of others,” he said, emphasizing that “the good-hearted Bahraini people have always been united and cohesive and will remain so forever.

” On their part, Chairman and members of the Bahrain Businessman Society denounced categorically the acts of violence and sabotage and attempts to harm Bahrain and its people, who have always been known for their high morals and advocacy of safety and security.

They also pledged that they will carry on their commercial and economic projects in the kingdom, stressing that “protecting the kingdom’s achievements is a common responsibility that we, all, will assume, in cooperation with the concerned sides.”They also commended HRH Prince Salman’s constant support for the policies and programmes of the Bahrain Businessmen Society.
