Deputy King Pays Visit to HRH Premier

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy of His Majesty the King, today paid a visit to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s court.

 During the meeting, the two Princes highlighted the importance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to Japan, noting that it will enhance bilateral relations and consolidate economic and investment cooperation further.T

hey also confirmed the efforts being exerted by the kingdom to consolidate its openness and attract investments through creating the most suitable mechanisms to cut visa red tape so as to facilitate entry of businessmen and investors via the kingdom’s main gates and commitment to competitiveness, sustainability and justice regarding work ethics, economic growth and investment development, in line with the Economic Vision for Bahrain, 2030, calling upon all officials to assume their responsibilities and implement the ethics supporting the government’s economic policies.

They also reviewed the latest local and regional developments, calling for the need to strengthen complementarity within the Gulf Cooperation Council in order to face attempts to disrupt regional security and stability and deal with distortive campaigns backed, sometimes, by institutions and organisations with hidden goals and agendas. The two Princes also emphasized that chaos and anarchy do not serve the development and democratic marches of any country.
