HRH Crown Prince to Patronise Night Ride

Leading stables around Bahrain have finalized their preparations for His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s Cup, scheduled for tomorrow at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Sakhir.The 120-km ride, patronised by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, is organized for the fifth successive year.The veterinary examination will be take place tomorrow between 3.00pm.

60 riders will participate in the five-phase race, to be held at night for the second time this season, and will kick start at 5.00p.m, in the presence of the members of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF).The honouring ceremony of the winners will be held at 12.00 a.mAmong the favourite stables taking part are the Bahrain Royal Endurance Team, captained by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Al Khalidia Stable, led by Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.Regarding the media coverage, the Dubai Racing Channel will broadcast the race live, which testifies to the importance of the event bearing a dear name.In this regard, Director of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s Media Office and Director of Breef’s Public Relations Tawfiq Al Salihi welcomed the Dubai Racing Channel’s coverage, asserting that its team will be provided with all needed support.Al Salihi also affirmed that the Bahrain Sport Channel’s coverage will start an house before the start of the race.WHQ.
