Wise Leadership Condoles Field Marshal Tantawi

His majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today sent a cable of condolences to the Head of Egypt’s Supreme Military Council Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi on the death of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

In the cable, HM King Hamad expressed his heartfelt condolences and consolation to Field Marshal Tantawi, lauding the late Pope’s support for the values tolerance between sects and religions and constant keenness to protect Egypt’s national unity.His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent a similar cable to Field Marshal Tantawi and another to his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Kamel Al Janzouri.His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, sent a similar cable to Field Marshal Tantawi.
