HRH Crown Prince: GCC Countries Have a Common History, Culture and Future

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, has affirmed that the Arabian Gulf people are linked by family ties and a common history, culture, and future.

Speaking as he received today, at Al Riffa Palace, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar International NGOs Support Office Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, currently on a visit to the kingdom, HRH Crown Prince lauded the on-going GCC cooperation in the field of humanitarian and charity work, which, he asserted, reflects the teachings of Islam and deep-rooted genuine social values, and are a distinctive civilizational feature aiming to provide support for needy wherever they are and regardless of their religious beliefs or ethnicity.

He also hailed the tremendous efforts made by Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to develop NGOs in the GCC countries, which will enhance charity and humanitarian work across the region.Shaikh Ibrahim bin Khalid Al Khalifa and Head of HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa were also present.
