HRH Prince Salman receives Haniyeh

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander  hailed the Palestinian move to unify in this critical stage and organize the Palestinian nation from inside for the benefit of the Arab nation and the Palestinian cause.

This came as HRH the Crown Prince received, at his palace in Riffa, Ismail Haniyeh and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the kingdom, as part of a regional tour in which he asserted that the Palestinian issue will remain the main Arab and Islamic one, stressing that Arab stances are unified, more than ever, on the need to solve it as soon as possible.

HRH asserted His Majesty’s keenness in strengthening ties with Palestine and in this regard, HRH re-affirmed the kingdom’s firm stances in support of the Palestinian people and its legitimate right to set up its independent state on its national territory, within a comprehensive and just solution to the Palestinian cause, appreciating the efforts being exerted to back Palestinians and ensure their national unity.

HRH also hailed the results of the meeting being held between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal which will reflect positively on the Palestinian people after decades of struggling.HRH reviewed with Haniyeh the situations in the Arab nation calling that the new Arab trend must be a multi – party and open one including all Islamic parties to maintain the unity of the nation.

HRH also discussed the future of the Kingdom , adding that Bahrain within the leadership of His Majesty will continue its commitment to democracy and pluralism and respecting citizenship .On his part, Ismail Haniyeh expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the government of Bahrain and its  honourable supportive stances in support the Palestinians.
