HRH CP receives CEO of JPMorgan
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, praised the role of JPMorgan Bank in the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout the bank’s forty years of successful business activity, which His Royal Highness considered worthy of respect and appreciation.
HRH the Crown Prince pointed out that the bank has a long history of successes and positive contributions in supplying the Bahraini market with highly-qualified cadres, citing Bahraini cadres in the economic and banking sector. HRH the Crown Prince received in the Riffa Palace today JPMorgan’s CEO of Treasury, Bonds and Investments Portfolios Mr. Michael Kavana and accompanying delegation in the presence of the Central Bank of Bahrain’s – CBB’s – governor Rasheed Al-Miraj, and said that the most significant factor which enabled us to surmount challenges lies in the solid foundations in terms of regulations, values and constructive relations.
HRH the Crown Prince pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain has gained impetus from its foreign relations and communication with its ambience, which gave local and foreign investors the advantages of a regional hub and flexibility for to manage their businesses in the region. HRH the Crown Prince encouraged financial and economic institutions to benefit from the Kingdom of Bahrain’s facilities in performing their business activities and to provide their services regionally, throughout the Arab world and internationally.On the other hand, JPMorgan’s CEO for the Treasury, Bonds and Investments Mr. Michael Kavana expressed the bank’s pride in its fruitful relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain as the bank celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year.
He thanked the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government for its financial and banking regulations and facilities provided by CBB, citing Bahraini cadres contribution in the financial and banking sector. He asserted the bank’s commitment to building on its achievements in the Kingdom of Bahrain which resulted in valuable results, and praised the Kingdom of Bahrain as a regional management center for the bank’s activities in the region. Michael Kavana and his accompanying delegation made a presentation on the bank’s plans and programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as a number of topics pertaining to the global economic situation. The meeting was attended by HRH CP’s court chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa. (IY)
