HRH Crown Prince receives UK Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met at the Riffa Palace the UK Ambassador to Bahrain Ian Lindsay.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, underlining the joint commitment of both countries towards furthering strategic ties between the two countries.

His Royal Highness emphasised that the new defence agreement between Bahrain and the UK demonstrates the commitment of both countries to further strengthening cooperation and coordination to tackle shared strategic and regional threats.

His Royal Highness and the British Ambassador also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Ambassador Lindsay expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and confirmed the two countries’ keenness to further enhance bilateral ties, and pursue opportunities for future partnership.
