HRH Crown Prince visits Royal Guard

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today visited the Royal Guard.

His Royal Highness was received upon his arrival to the headquarters of the Royal Guard by the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, His Highness the Royal Guard Commander Staff Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, His Highness the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa along with other senior officers.

During his visit, His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of further developing the Kingdom’s defence and military capabilities, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, to protect significant achievements delivered under the country’s programme of reform and development.

His Royal Highness started his visit with a tour to the repository of vehicles and armory of the Royal Guard followed by a presentation by His Highness Staff Colonel Shaikh Nasser outlining key tactics to further develop the Royal Guard, including plans to boost combat-readiness and enhance the capabilities of all the Royal Guard’s task forces.

His Highness Major Shaikh Khalid, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander also gave a presentation to His Royal Highness on the responsibilities and tasks carried out by his unit.

His Royal Highness then witnessed a series of military trainings specific to the Royal Guard task forces, demonstrating precision execution of complex military manoeuvres.

His Royal Highness praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser on the continued progress of the Royal Guard and offered his high regard to the level of professionalism he witnessed during his visit.

His Royal Highness went on to extend his thanks to all the Royal Guardsmen, and recognised their role in defending and protecting the Kingdom.

His Highness Staff Colonel Shaikh Nasser thanked His Royal Highness for his visit, and highlighted His Royal Highness’ continued support and guidance to the Royal Guard. His Highness Shaikh Nasser continued to reaffirm his dedication to executing all the duties and responsibilities as the Royal Guard Commander with the utmost determination.
