Crown Prince meets Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, His Excellency Mr. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed the Pakistan National Assembly Delegation to the Kingdom. He highlighted the strength of Bahraini-Pakistani relations, which he said continue to be enhanced by official visits between the two countries. 

His Royal Highness then noted the important role played by institutions of civil society in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, and emphasised the need to support their further development.

His Royal Highness then praised the efforts of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and the National Assembly of Pakistan in promoting the exchange of ideas and parliamentary experience.

In response, the Head of the Pakistan National Assembly, His Excellency Mr. Sadeq expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s support for the ongoing development of ties between the two countries. His Excellency Mr. Sadeq went on to praise the accomplishments of the Council of Representatives.

The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Excellency Mr. Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives.
