Crown Prince meets French Ambassador to Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Christian Testot, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, which marked the conclusion of His Excellency’s service in the Kingdom, His Royal Highness and Ambassador Testot discussed the strong relations between France and Bahrain, including cultural, economic and political cooperation.  In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised France’s role in understanding recent regional developments and its commitment to ensuring long-term regional stability. He particularly stressed the importance of maintaining coordination among the international community in order to effectively address recent regional developments and upheavals, and protect the security and stability of the region as a whole. For his part, ambassador Testot expressed his gratitude for the wider support he has received in his diplomatic mandate to further develop bilateral ties between Bahrain and France.
