HRH Crown Prince meets UAE Ambassador
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Mohammed Sultan Saif Al Suwaidi, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted that the strong ties and cooperation between all countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) continue to drive further development and progress in Bahrain, which, in turn, strengthens GCC unity and regional stability. His Royal Highness praised the UAE for its prominent role in supporting the GCC programmes and initiatives, both regionally and internationally.
The UAE Ambassador extended an invitation to His Royal Highness from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to attend the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum, which will be held in Dubai in October.
His Royal Highness noted the importance of holding such conferences, which attract a diverse range of attendees and discuss a variety of pressing topics of global interest.
His Royal Highness sent his regards and thanks to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed, wishing him good health and happiness, and the people of UAE further progress and development.
In response, the UAE Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and his interest in further developing the Bahraini-Emirati relations.
