Crown Prince and US Ambassador discuss regional security
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with the American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Thomas Krajeski, at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness and Ambassador Krajeski reviewed a number of regional and international developments, including the importance of increasing international efforts to confront and defeat all forms of terrorism.
His Royal Highness also highlighted that collective efforts are required to address all forms of extremism and sectarianism that act as a threat to the lasting unity, security and stability of all countries and their citizens.
His Royal Highness further noted the ongoing crisis in Palestine, stating the importance of ongoing international efforts to maintain the cease-fire and to reach a lasting peaceful solution.
In this regard, His Royal Highness stressed the key role played by the US in contributing to the security and stability of the Middle East through continued cooperation and collaboration with countries in the region.
In response, the American Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and praised the Crown Prince’s interest in further developing ties between the two countries.
