Deputy King meets newly appointed Assistant Undersecretaries
Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, today met with a number of newly appointed government Assistant Undersecretaries at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Deputy King highlighted the role of public sector employees in implementing the government’s strategies. He further underscored the importance of focusing on collective efforts that serve the government’s strategies and priorities.
His Royal Highness praised the skills of Bahrain’s national workforce and stressed the importance of constantly improving the quality of service provided by government entities.
He further highlighted the need to provide innovative solutions that contribute to the speed of government service delivery, in line with the goals and objectives of the government’s various programmes.
His Royal Highness also highlighted the importance of integration across government bodies through opening communication channels, to ensure the effective delivery of high quality services to Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
His Royal Highness also called for the improvement of the interaction between government service providers and beneficiaries through efficient communication platforms, in order to provide citizens and residents the opportunity to give feedback on the services they receive.
The Assistant Undersecretaries expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and emphasised their commitment to serving Bahrain and its citizens.
His Royal Highness met:
· Dr. Arif Abdul Rahman Abdulkarim – General Coordinator of the Committees Affairs, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister
· Mr. Arif Hasan Al Mansouri – Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information, Ministry of Transport
· Mr. Nasser Sultan Al-Suwaidi – Assistant Undersecretary for Logistic Zones and Ports Security, Ministry of Transportation
· Mr. Mohammed Abdulrahim Al-Sadiqi – Deputy CEO for the Production and Transmission of Electricity and Water, Electricity and Water Authority
· Dr. Dhafer Ahmed Al Omran – Assistant Undersecretary for GCC and Western Countries’ Affairs, Foreign Ministry
· Mr. Khalil Yaqoob Al-Khayat – Assistant Undersecretary for Human and Financial Resources and Information Systems, Foreign Ministry
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
