HRH Crown Prince thanked

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), expressed utmost gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) for appointing His Highness in the EDB Board of Directors for its upcoming term.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser affirmed that this precious trust would constitute a strong push to continue faithful hard work and to accomplish the EDB’s highest goals in boosting the Kingdom’s ongoing, sustainable economic development.

His Highness pledged to exert all efforts to bolster the EDB march and to expedite the wheel of national economic development in line with the Kingdom’s futuristic vision and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to translate the EDB goals and objectives in reaching the highest degrees of economic development and growth to place Bahrain in the rank of the most advanced countries.

His Highness praised the huge efforts undertaken by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince aimed to ensure the welfare and prosperity aspired by everybody in the Kingdom of Bahrain which would positively reflect on all walks of life in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Highness stressed the significance of full cooperation between the EDB members in order to for their aspirations and ambitions to converge on a single goal which is to activate the national economy and work to increase the rates of growth and boost the victorious march by assuming the responsibility of laying down the Kingdom’s economic development strategy and overseeing its implementation and to create a suitable climate which attracts direct investments into the Kingdom.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa added that the EDB has accomplished a series of excellent successes, focusing on attracting investments into the Kingdom with strong advantages in various fields and facilitating entrance of investments into the various sectors in the Kingdom which has also led to making Bahrain most attractive to investments and the most suitable place in which to do business and to avail from the facilitations provided to investors. He also pointed out the importance of maintaining the gains accomplished by the EDB in the previous period and to boost its accomplishments in the future by drawing policies and laying down strategies which are capable of advancing our national economy and achieving the desired growth.
