Crown Prince meets wife of Nigerian Vice President

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with Dr. Amina Namadi Sambo, wife of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness and Dr. Amina discussed means of enhancing bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s interest in identifying opportunities for coordination particularly in the areas of trade and social and economic development across the African continent and the wider world.

Dr. Amina then praised Bahrain’s efforts in reinforcing the role of women in the community and highlighted the significant contribution of women across key sectors in the Kingdom. 

In conclusion, His Royal Highness wished Dr. Amina every success with her efforts to enhance the role of women and promote all forms of social development in Nigeria.

Also attending the meeting was the Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
