Crown Prince meets newly appointed BCCI Board Directors

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with the newly elected Board Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCCI) at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the role of BCCI in the economic development of the Kingdom and wished the new Board Directors, under the Chairmanship of Khalid Abdulrahman Khalil Almoayed, every success in their new role.

His Royal Highness underlined BCCI’s valuable contribution, along with the private sector, to improving the living standards and creating more job opportunities for all Bahrainis. His Royal Highness continued praising the efforts of the former BCCI Board Directors under the Chairmanship of Dr. Issam Fakhro on reinforcing BCCI’s role across various sectors.

In addition, His Royal Highness touched on bilateral trade and investments, highlighting the key role of BCCI in promoting trade and expanding investment opportunities with neighbouring countries and the wider world. His Royal Highness further emphasised Bahrain’s strategic location and the Kingdom’s modern infrastructure which allows quick and easy access to Gulf markets, creating a business environment conducive to enticing companies to the Kingdom.

In response, the BCCI’s Chairman Khalid Almoayed expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ support and encouragement of the role of BCCI in safeguarding Bahrain’s stable and liberal economy. He further affirmed the commitment of BCCI to continue to enable the Kingdom to flourish in the modern global economy.
