Crown Prince meets Shaikh Daij bin Salman, incoming chairman of Alba

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met, at Riffa Palace, with Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al-Khalifa, incoming chairman of Aluminum Bahrain (Alba).

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the role of national companies in ensuring the stable economic development of the Kingdom.

His Royal Highness went on to praise the accomplishment of Bahrainis and their responsible commitment to delivering ambitious goals and strategies. His Royal Highness continued by wishing Shaikh Daij every success in his new role as incoming chairman of Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) and his mandate to enhance the performance of the company and upgrade its production output.

On the significance of Alba to Bahrain’s economy, His Royal Highness underlined the achievements of Alba’s Bahraini workforce in developing its historic track record.

In response, Shaikh Daij expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s interest in supporting national companies and reinforcing their role in the Kingdom’s ongoing economic development programme.
