Bahrain leaders congratulated on NAC anniversary

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received cables of congratulations on the 13th National Action Charter anniversary from ministers and citizens. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister also received congratulatory cables.

They all hailed the 13th NAC anniversary, describing the referendum on the charter as a historic and defining moment, which ushered in a new era and put Bahrain on the path of development and progress, on the basis of freedom, democracy, justice and the rule of the law.

They took pride in the landmark national achievements, under HM the King’s pioneering reform project which bolstered Bahrain’s regional and international standing. They commended Bahrain’s strides regarding liberties, equality, and the rule of the law since the inception of the National Action Charter.
