Crown Prince holds weekly majlis, stresses core national values
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today held his weekly Majlis at Riffa Palace.
He welcomed a broad cross-section of members of Bahraini society, including members of the royal family, senior government officials, members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council, members of municipal councils, prominent religious figures, academics, community leaders, journalists, and diplomats accredited to the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness stressed on the importance of reinforcing core national values enshrined in 2001’s National Action Charter, underpinning His Majesty’s reform and development programme. His Royal Highness further highlighted national consensus is a primer to continue developing the Kingdom and serving the interests of the people of Bahrain.
Those attending praised the weekly event and His Royal Highness’ keen engagement with citizens, following in the steps of his fathers and forefathers by continuing a commitment to Bahrain’s values, traditions, social fabric, and national identity.
The attendees also commended the efforts of His Royal Highness to reinforce the sustainable development of the Kingdom, in order to achieve further progress and prosperity within the reforms led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, and the government efforts to deliver higher levels of services.
