His Royal Highness the Crown Prince meets the Secretary of State for Defence Philip Anthony Hammond

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Defence, Philip Hammond at the Bahrain International Airshow.

The meeting was an opportunity for His Royal Highness and Secretary Hammond to discuss bilateral relations between the UK and Bahrain. In addition, the meeting looked at ways to further enhance cooperation in economic and security spheres.

Commenting on the British participation, His Royal Highness highlighted the advancement of the British aviation industry and technology.

In response, Secretary Hammond expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness, underscoring the longstanding ties that go back 200 between the two countries. Secretary Hammond further noted the importance of the Bahrain International Show and wished its organizers continuous success.
