HRH the CP, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and PM receives the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State for Defense Affairs and member of UAE Cabinet
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today received the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Minister of State for Defense Affairs and member of the UAE Cabinet, HE Mohamed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al-Mazrouei, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of the ties between the two countries and their peoples, thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed that the long-standing historic relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE has contributed to the cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries in various fields.
HE Al-Mazrouei conveyed the greetings of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Defense, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to HM the King and His Royal Highness. HE Al-Mazrouei also expressed their condolences for the loss of Major Abdullah Rashid Al Noaimi, who lost his life in a terrorist attack, along with several servicemen from the United Arab Emirates, while carrying out training missions in the Federal Republic of Somalia.
His Royal Highness thanked the leadership, government and people of the UAE for their sincere condolences and conveyed the greetings of HM the King and his greetings to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also conveyed the condolences of HM the King and his condolences to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the fallen servicemen of the UAE and wished a speedy recovery for those who were injured.
For his part, HE Al-Mazrouei expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to consolidating bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE for the benefit of both countries and their people.
The National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Staff Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, also attended the meeting.
