HM King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister exchange congratulations on NAC anniversary

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the 23rd anniversary of the endorsement of the National Action Charter (NAC).

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the anniversary of NAC is a significant milestone in the nation’s history, embodying the one-family spirit adopted by Bahrain’s loyal people.

The National Action Charter played a significant role in advancing the nation towards a better present and brighter future, HRH said, adding that the kingdom looks forward to more achievements in line with His Majesty’s aspirations of which everyone is proud.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that Team Bahrain, led by His Majesty the King, has made significant achievements over the past 23 years, based on the principles of the National Action Charter, making it a qualitative addition to the kingdom’s history.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister pledged that this glorious anniversary would be an opportunity to renew resolve, drawing inspiration from the integrated national approach, spearheaded by HM the King, to continue advancing the kingdom and its status for the benefit of everyone.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health, happiness, wellness, and long life.

HM the King sent a reply cable of thanks to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, hailing the anniversary of the National Action Charter, which represents a milestone in modern national history, heralding a new chapter of political life, partnership, economic and social development, and vibrant democracy.

His Majesty affirmed that the People of Bahrain had, in an unprecedented referendum, voted for democratic participation as the best means to achieve development and prosperity, in line with their history, cultural authenticity, and aspirations for a better life and political development.

This approach aims to enhance national participation for greater economic and social development, HM said.

HM the King praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s role in activating the principles of the NAC since its launch, through chairing the committee in charge of activating the National Action Charter. and setting visions and programmes to achieve NAC’s goals.

His Majesty hailed HRH’ continued efforts to achieve further progress at all levels, through ambitious development initiatives, plans, and projects.
