HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (1) of 2024

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), today issued Edict (1) of 2024, assigning the Minister of Sustainable Development to carry out the role of the Chief Executive Officer of the EDB.

Article (I)

According to the edict, The Minister of Sustainable Development shall perform the technical and administrative duties of EDB’s CEO until a new Executive Director is appointed.

Article II

The provisions of the edict shall be implemented and will be published in the Official Gazette.
