HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulates HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, congratulated the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that the Kingdom’s various sporting accomplishments reflects the support that sports receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which has contributed to strengthening the Kingdom’s position in sports internationally.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that this sporting achievement has added to Team Bahrain’s record in various international forums, noting the important role of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad in enhancing the progress of Bahraini sports, including athletics, which continues to add to Bahrain’s accomplishments in international competitions.

His Royal Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness and all officials and employees of the General Sports Authority and the Bahrain Olympic Committee for their constant interest in developing Bahraini sports.
