HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at Gudaibiya Palace.
The visit is part of the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role in leading the Saudi representatives at the Security Sub-committee Meeting, under the framework of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
His Royal Highness commended the strength of relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, which continue to advance with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister acknowledged the mutual commitment to expanding the bilateral partnership, affirming that the deep-rooted Bahraini-Saudi relations continue to flourish, strengthened by their shared history and strong ties.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in advancing Bahrain-Saudi cooperation, by supporting the various committee initiatives of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In turn, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted Saudi Arabia’s role, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in strengthening regional security and development across various sectors, thereby supporting Arab and Islamic causes and promoting joint GCC efforts.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations were discussed, along with the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
For his part, the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and joint coordination, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister hosted a dinner banquet in honour of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud and the accompanying delegation.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and several senior officials were in attendance.
