HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Executive Chairman of Investcorp

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Executive Chairman of Investcorp, Mohammed bin Mahfoodh Alardhi, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of the Kingdom’s banking and financial sectors in advancing various development pathways and contributing to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its competitiveness as a hub for attracting investments that will benefit citizens.

His Royal Highness emphasised the crucial role of financial and banking institutions in supporting various economic sectors and creating job opportunities for citizens.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the importance of enhancing the government services sector through creativity, innovation, modern technology and artificial intelligence, to boost the sector’s competitiveness and fulfill the Kingdom’s far-reaching aspirations.

For his part, Mr. Alardhi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, acknowledging HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to advancing the banking and financial sector through the latest technologies and enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s investment environment.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
