HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Alastair Long, at Gudaibiya Palace.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the enduring and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, strengthened by decades of multisectoral collaboration. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the importance of furthering bilateral cooperation to achieve shared aspirations.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of building on existing partnerships across all sectors, in line with joint agreements and high-level visits that have taken place over the years, for the benefit of both countries and their people.

The meeting discussed the importance of supporting international efforts to consolidate regional security, peace, and stability, as well as reviewing current regional and global matters of common interest.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
