HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Chairman of STC Group

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Chairman of STC Group, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Khalid A. Al Faisal Al Saud, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to further enhancing its economic and developmental sectors.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the communications and information technology sector, recognising it as a key pillar supporting various vital economic sectors.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Bahrain-Saudi partnership across various fields, emphasising its role in achieving mutual interests that benefit both Kingdoms and their peoples. In this context, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening this partnership, particularly within the information and communication technology sector.

During the meeting, STC’s development plans and its current and upcoming programmes were discussed, along with topics of mutual interest and the latest developments in the information and communication technology sector at both regional and international levels.

For his part, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Khalid expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, acknowledging HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad’s unwavering commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s telecommunications sector.

HRH Prince Mohammed bin Khalifa concluded by extending his wishes for continued prosperity and progress for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
