HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister deputises Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah to attend Bahrain Polytechnic graduation ceremony

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, deputised Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, to attend the graduation ceremony of Bahrain Polytechnic’s 10th batch, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasised the importance of Bahrain Polytechnic’s academic, vocational, and applied education in supporting sustainable development and building a knowledge-based economy. This aligns with Bahrain’s comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah noted that Bahrain Polytechnic has consistently introduced innovative academic programmes that address global changes and the practical needs of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. This has made the institution a sought-after educational destination both locally and internationally, reinforcing Bahrain’s status as a leading hub for applied education with a legacy of formal education spanning over a century.

Following his remarks, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah presented awards to academically distinguished graduates, including those achieving first and second-class honours, and handed graduation certificates to the graduates.

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Bahrain Polytechnic Board of Trustees, expressed his gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his patronage of the ceremony, and his appreciation for the Deputy Prime Minister for attending the ceremony.

Dr. Juma congratulated the graduates, their families, the board members, and the academic and administrative staff on this occasion.
