HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister deputises Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah to attend Omani National Day celebration

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, deputised Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, to attend a reception hosted by the Embassy of Oman in Bahrain today, marking Oman’s 54th National Day.

Upon arrival, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah was received by Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain. He conveyed the congratulations of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman; His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, the Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; and the Omani people.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the historical ties between Bahrain and Oman, noting their advanced relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman.

He commended the achievements of the Bahrain-Oman Joint Ministerial Committee, formed under the directives of the two leaderships, which has advanced cooperation in economic, investment, trade, and social sectors.

The ambassador expressed his gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his commitment to strengthening ties between Bahrain and Oman. He also thanked Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah for attending the celebration. He enphasised the progress in bilateral relations under the two leaderships.
