His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today congratulated the Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of McLaren winning the Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship and securing first place at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024, held at Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This marks McLaren’s first Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship win in 26 years.

His Royal Highness commended Mumtalakat’s dedicated efforts in advancing its investments, which has contributed to diversifying Bahrain’s economic base and advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development under the leadership His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
