HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets the newly elected President of the Arab Parliament
His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the newly elected President of the Arab Parliament, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmad Al Yamahi, and his accompanying delegation at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for efforts to enhance joint Arab initiatives across various sectors.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation between Arab countries and other countries worldwide to achieve mutual aspirations and benefit all, in line with the directives of Arab leaders.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad congratulated HE Al Yamahi on his election as President of the Arab Parliament and extended his best wishes for success in fulfilling his duties.
His Royal Highness underscored the Arab Parliament’s prominent role in strengthening Arab collaboration and joint action across various sectors. In this regard, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the Arab Parliament’s commitment to supporting Arab causes and its dedication to defending their interests in various international parliamentary forums.
For his part, the President of the Arab Parliament expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to enhancing Arab collaboration, as well as the Kingdom’s position in supporting Arab issues.
HE Mohammed Ahmad Al Yamahi extended his best wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
The Speaker of the Council of Representatives, His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.
