HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the sponsors of the Celebrate Bahrain events from the private sector
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the sponsors of the Celebrate Bahrain events from the private sector, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors to achieve the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the private sector’s contributions to the Kingdom’s development as part of Team Bahrain, emphasising its essential role in the success of various sectors, particularly the tourism sector.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his appreciation to all the sponsors for their efforts in supporting Bahrain’s national holiday celebrations and their contributions to the success of the Kingdom’s tourism sector, which remains one of its priority sectors.
His Royal Highness noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain has prioritised the enhancement of its tourism sector and will continue to enrich it by strengthening the role of the private sector as a key partner in its development.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to implementing initiatives and projects that showcase the Kingdom’s cultural and historical heritage, thereby strengthening Bahrain’s position on the regional and international tourism map.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, is committed to buildin a bright future for its people.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the determination of the people of Bahrain, along with the implementation and joint coordination among various parties within Team Bahrain, serves as an incentive to continue the Kingdom’s development.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that the current partnership with the private sector has successfully transformed challenges into qualitative opportunities, contributing to the achievement of the Kingdom’s desired goals.
For their part, the sponsors expressed their gratitude and appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, benefiting the Kingdom and its people across various fields.
The platinum sponsors were the National Bank of Bahrain, GFH Financial Group, and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. The gold sponsors included Marassi Al Bahrain, STC and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba). The silver sponsors included the National Bank of Kuwait, Beyon, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Infracorp, and Al Salam Bank. In addition to support from Cebarco Bahrain and Urbaser.
The Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.
