HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the U.S. Governor of the State of Michigan

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Her Excellency Gretchen Whitmer, the Governor of the State of Michigan of the United States of America, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness reaffirmed the strong and enduring Bahrain-US relations, built on a strategic partnership and shared commitment to development.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of deepening multisectoral collaboration and fostering new opportunities to achieve common goals.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the advanced levels of cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of expanding ties, particularly in economic and investment sectors, to benefit all.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and address key regional and international developments of shared interest.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
